Hmm I "think" that those samples were created with the use of templates from old sample module that do not exists anymore. Can you log that as an issue please? What you can do is try to get the magnolia-module-samples.jar from the version of magnolia mentioned as a dependency in poll module descriptor (META-INF/magnolia/poll.xml in the m-m-poll.jar) and get it installed. Or simply forget about those samples, and allow paragraphs registered by poll module in some other template that you have and create your own samples/pages with new templates.
