Hey Matteo,

should be possible to do. Another option is to just start JR from the 
standalone java app the same way as Magnolia normally starts it from the 
ContextListener.

Actually Greg started to write such a standalone browser long time ago and we 
used it few times internally ... maybe there is a way to make it available to 
wider community for use and improvements ...
