Simply go to the the config:/modules/admininterface/commands/website and remove the
"delete" command there. Similarly for the DMS.
Uhm... So this new delete command is installed and applied by default
even if there is no active subscriber? Interesting :-)
If that is the case then there is a bug. Failed activation should indeed fail
the deletion too. Were you using workflow or direct activation? Could you
please create jira issue with the config details and steps to reproduce?

Jira and steps. I admit my stupid case is really borderline but I'm
quite curious for the last question: if the activation should be
considered transactional, should the page be restored on the public
machine in case of an authoring error after deletion?
