Hi,

I'm a new Magnolia user.

I'm trying to create a page that only a couple of friends can access. I
create a role, group, and a couple of users for them.

I set the role to allow read/write access to the page.

Then I discovered that everyone can see the page. So I figured out I
need to restrict the anonymous role's access control list (ACL). So I
set that ACL to Deny for that page.

Now no one can see any page of my site without seeing the login screen.

I've removed the ACL rule from the anonymous role. That role only has
these rules:

Resources: Read only, Selected and sub pages, /
Website: Read only, Selected and sub pages, /
URL Deny access, /.magnolia*

The system anonymous user still has the roles anonymous and
contact-base.

There is nothing changed in contact-base.

I've tried activating and deactivating the anonymous user and role.

I removed the new role and users I had set up.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Many thanks!
Michael Davis
