Hi Tim!

The way I read it, "/jcr:root/it-works/*" means all element children of
"it-works".
Maybe something like "/jcr:root/it-works" to get the specific node itself
returned?

Regards from Vienna,

Richard

Betreff: [magnolia-user] XPath woes

Hi,

I'm new to Magnolia/XPath, but an experienced developer.

I've set up a test case using the 'openutils' JUnitRepositoryTestcase.

I have data in my repository! I can find it using
MgnlContext.getHierarchyManager.getContent( "it-works" ). I can't find it using
XPath ('/jcr:root/it-works/*')! The same code, with a query string of
'/jcr:root//*' returns all my expected nodes, and I can see the 'it-works' ones
fine.

The context and setup is the same in all cases.

Please help as I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

Regards

tim
