The carousels and other Teaser paragraphs are actually teasing the other content - i.e. they are showing content of other pages. Therefore the dependency is on page that is being teased, but not on the resources (images/video) used by such page. For example in the carousel you see teaser to subsection-articles page. The teaser shows also the header image from subsection-articles page and subsection-articles page defines its image as coming from DMS. So the direct home page dependency is to a subsection-articles page, but not to the image that this page defines. That dependency belongs to the subsection-articles page itself.
