Hi guys,
problem solved! I downloaded the latest Java SDK (Java 7 Update 4) and now
everything works fine.
Matt your suggestion ("Another more drastic approach may be to try upgrading to
Java 7,
apparently it has much better memory allocation") was the right way!!
