After inspecting the regular expression fromURI
[code](\.*)\.(\d{4}-(?:\d{2}-){5}\d{3})\.cache\.(css|js)[/code]
and toURI
[code]$1~$2~cache.$3[/code]
it looks like it doesn''t rewrite occurences of dots in the filename to a tilde.
