Hi all
I try to upgrade from 4.4.8 to 4.4.10-jr24. Upgrading to 4.5.x is currently not
an option, and 4.4.10-jr24 brings some major performance boosts, urgently
needed.
By simply changing the versions accordingly, I am instructed to upgrade, which
I do. I then see tons of messages like this: [code]Workspace definition in

/home/christian/data/repositories/magnolia/workspaces/packager/workspace.xml
references indexer which has changed; please remove the parameter
'textFilterClasses'.[/code]
Ok, so I am changing the files, removing the mentioned parameter. Rinse and
repeat, now the application tells me:

My questions are
* does such an upgrade work? Or should I do a clean install and restore the
data? (Please don't tell me so...)
* This is a major change, from Jackrabbit 1.x to 2.x. [b]Can[/b] an upgrade
work?
* Are there other things I should consider for 4.4.10-jr24?
