Hello, We recently upgraded to Magnolia 4.5.12 from 4.5.8 and noticed a new issue that are currently filling up our logs. Please see a full stack trace in the url included. All the errors seem to stem from
info.magnolia.module.templatingkit.sites.Site$$EnhancerByCGLIB$$20733c2.setName(<generated>)
.
The scenario is as follows: * We have custom servlets mapped to specific path patterns. * Servlet performs the following actions: ** validates the full path represents a node. ** Creates our custom bean instance from node and sets a request attribute with the bean as value. ** Forwards request to a page with template that uses the data in the bean attribute to render the data. * The destination page is a regular freemarker page and not an STK page. This had been working without any issues so far. After the upgrade, we see a lot of errors which after some apache log analysis we seem to have narrowed down to iOS (will be checking on Android soon) as you can see from the following matches from the apache log file.
66.249.73.188 - - [10/Feb/2014:00:01:05 -0600] 24244 "GET /ucp/books/author/G/E/au5092648.html HTTP/1.1" 500 4945 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 6_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/536.26 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10A5376e Safari/8536.25 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)" 66.249.73.20 - - [10/Feb/2014:00:13:39 -0600] 138893 "GET /ucp/books/author/G/E/au5092648.html HTTP/1.1" 200 3536 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)" 211.110.190.64 - - [10/Feb/2014:06:52:26 -0600] 167250 "GET /ucp/books/author/G/E/au5092648.html HTTP/1.1" 200 3536 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE or Firefox mutant; not on Windows server;)" 180.76.5.62 - - [10/Feb/2014:22:38:08 -0600] 136213 "GET /ucp/books/author/G/E/au5092648.html HTTP/1.1" 200 3536 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Baiduspider/2.0; +http://www.baidu.com/search/spider.html)"
The full stack trace can be viewed at: http://sptci.com/uploads/magnolia/enhancer.txt How can be avoid Magnolia throwing this issue when an iOS device attempts to access our site? Once again, our site uses only raw freemarker templates and does not use the STK. Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions in resolving this issue.
