Hello Matteo, possibilities to control components: - role restrictions - action restrictions - limiting the number of components [url=http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS45/Template+prototype#Templateprototype-Availablecomponents]http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS45/Template+prototype#Templateprototype-Availablecomponents [/url] - you can specify access to other components for other roles -> allow textAndImage only for editors - you can set maxComponents to 1 (but this is restrictions applied for all roles) As far I know, more complex logic is currently not possible unless you add your own logic into [i]AreaElement[/i]: - [i]info.magnolia.templating.elements.AreaElement.resolveAvailableComponents()[/i] - [i]info.magnolia.templating.elements.AreaElement.end(Appendable)[/i] (logic for maxComponents)
