Yes, I meant the checkboxes would still be around, but then I expect that you can no longer select multiple items at a time - which would suit your selection needs, wouldn't it? In that case checkboxes are merely a visual appearance 'issue', whereas user interaction would be ok. Or did I get anything wrong?
