Thanks Jan. The light starts to shine here.. The key part I was missing was that AbstractContentDecorator . wrapWorkspace --> wraps the workspace with a "SessionDecorator aware workspace". So, it gives back to the caller a session asking to the content decorator instance.
It implies a key part is to override in ContentDecorator the method wrapSession. I guess there are other parts like this to be handled, but I will discover them "on the way".
