Hi Alberto, This is a feature that is currently missing from Magnolia 5. I have already created a support ticket asking for it.
Basically, at the moment Assets can be uploaded, managed and edited from the assets app. >From the pages app, you can select assets via the asset-chooser, and even >upload a new asset, but there is currently no way to edit the asset metadata >(or provide new metadata when uploading). IMHO this feature is important and should be added. If the metadata were accessible in the pages app that would enable workflows for the editors where they can do all editing tasks while never having to leave the pages app. At the moment they have to switch between the pages and the assets apps, which (believe it or not!) can be confusing and difficult for some users.
