Hi,

This isn't a feature I really see as needing to be supplied by your CMS.

I would imagine that some chat solutions can be integrated as a purely 
front-end component, i.e. purely by templating. I think a server-side chat 
module will only be required if you want magnolia to be the chat server, and I 
would avoid solving it this way unless you have other requirements that make it 
necessary to handle the chat server yourself.
