Hi all, I'm a little confused over what the restoration steps are for public instances, when the author node has had content activated since the public instance was restored.
i.e. 1) Public instance gets backed up 2) Various publish/activation steps happen on the author instance during the day 3) Public instance fails and has to be restored Subsequently the public instance is now out of sync with the author. Obviously we could copy another 'up-to-date' public instance to this recently restored instance, but lets suggest we either have only one public instance or all instance go down - we now have no up-to-date public instance to copy from. What's the best way in achieving an in-sync restoration to the public instance, considering many edits may have been made across many pages etc and re-activating them manually is probably not an option.
