Hi Francesco, I think you might want to use an upload field instead of a link field in your form, check out http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Basic+upload
LinkField as such can't upload anything, there is only "direct upload" capability for the dam/assets app, but of course as you pointed out, it uploads to the dam. Contacts app is probably configured in a closer way to what you want to achieve.
