Hi there Edi/Michael I investigated into this and also ran into the same issue with M5.3.5, seems like the ui-project POM is pulling in a wrong dependency (3.0.1 instead of 3.1.2) for the imaging module [1]. If you are using maven 3 and generated your project with the archetype generator, remove the dependency to magnolia-ui-project in your project POM since it is not needed anyways. Otherwise specify the correct version for the imaging module in your webapp's POM. For Magnolia 5.3.6 it should also still be imaging 3.1.2
