I am seeing this issue as well and I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. I am on Magnolia 5.3.6 tomcat bundle I am working on disaster recovery strategies so the steps I took were. I had a working version of Magnolia Author running on a server and using mysql. I backed up the DB using mysqldump. I zipped up the Magnolia. I put the mysql backup on a new SQL server on a new box. I copied and unzipped the Magnolia and configured and got that up and running. I created a public instance from a fresh version of Magnolia, ran updates, etc. I then tried to publish the sites I had made in the Author app, but when I do I get this:
