Hi Mike.,

We don't do embedded documentation because that approach is the kiss of death
to updates etc. Most modern systems provide 'help systems' that bring you out
of the system anyway. They are just links to external resources. Go offline and
so does your help. Over the years there have been thoughts about adding links
to the product - but personally I don't see it happening personally. Antti (the
technical writing head) might disagree. I doubt it.

Now for the good news. :)

Our documentation is strong and largely acts as a reference. It also includes
tutorials. Pretty much everything you need should be there. There are three
people working on it:

I am behind the Academy - a more 'front line' defence, which as an introduction
to Magnolia and covers a large subset of what we do in our face to face
training:
https://academy.magnolia-cms.com/display/MA/Magnolia+Academy It is popular, but
also populist - more a phrase book than a dictionary. Lots of videos there.
Perhaps the reason you haven't found this is because it is not clearly promoted
on our corporate website right now. We will fix that.

One good way of verifying your knowledge level is to get certified. If you are
interested, let me know:

We do face to face training too. if you are working with EE, I would highly
recommend this: https://www.magnolia-cms.com/services/training.html

Hope that helps!
