If you have long anything and want to get it fast you can parallels loading the chunks. You can script that w/ curl or there are other more sophisticated tools that can do it for you.

Either you enable it or not, if you don't want it for some resource, add bypass like for any other filter. There is not much to configure on the filter itself.
