Hi Chris Are you able to get via ssh onto your remote server? If so, you could use curl or wget to test it.
I just realize that 8009 is the AJP port, sorry for that, so I guess it would be rather 8080 for HTTP in case the default HTTP port has not been changed. You might want to setup a similar configuration locally in order to reproduce the problem and then try to figure out what the problem is.
