Hi Magnolians
I'm trying to configure activation on a Magnolia 5.3.8 EE installation - so
yes, with workflow. I configured the subscriber and tried to activate a page,
as the documentation [1] says, that the publicKey would be set automatically on
the first activation. But I was faced with an activation error message telling
me that it could not create the public key file on the server (probably a
permissions problem, but the physical installation is not under my control
unfortunately).
So I tried to set the publicKey property manually in the public instance. But
the activation problems still existed (sorry, don't remember the exact
message). So I thought let's clean out the old activation jobs and start from
scratch. I followed the link "Cleaning activation errors" on the wiki page [1]
and cleaned the mgnlSystems workspace... both on public [i]and[/i] author. I
guess this made things even worse because now I'm getting
Cannot execute command personalizationActivation-null.
Exception
ExchangeException: info.magnolia.cms.exchange.ExchangeException: 1 error
detected: Not able to send the activation request [{server url + context
path}/.magnolia/activation]: Unexpected end of file from server on {subscriber
name}
So, can anyone please tell me:
- how to delete failed activation workflows
- how to resolve the "Unexpected end of file from server" error
- and if I can setup the subscriber's publicKey even when apparently the file
could not be written
