Hi Eric

I suppose you created a webpage based on the sample search template.

If you type a text that you have at least once in some content elements, you should get results. If that is not the case, I suppose
1) you have no indexing configured
2) you have an index setup, but the index files are corrupt

1) Check that there is an index set, by opening file "repositories/website/workspaces/default/workspace.xml". You should find the "SearchIndex" tag with the index configuration and above the "FileSystem" tag with the filesystem configuration. If you have both set, try 2).

2)
- Stop Web server
- Delete folder "index" in "repositories/website/workspaces/default"
- Restart the Web server

--> 2) Will rebuild the index files

Hi-

I tried a search for:
-template
-developer
-jsp
-contact
-about
-content
-magnolia

on the main magnolia.info site and all of them returned zero results. Also, on my own magnolia site, I've tried searching for text that is in page titles, but not in actual content areas, and discovered that Magnolia does not find these pages.
