About a year ago I tried the same but had to conclude that alltough I
was able to write to the repository, changes were only visible in
magnolia after restarting (magnolia).
After some tests it was obvious, that (at that time) it was not
possible to update cache of jackrabbit from different applications.
It might be that with newer version of jackrabbit you might have more
luck. Please keep us informed.
