Hi, It would be great if anyone could give suggestion on the following problem.This is the scenario. We developed few dialogs and paragraphs and added content to few pages. since everything went smoothly we decided to move to production server. Zipped up repositories and moved to the production server and exported the war files from the development environment and deployed in the production server .Had to change the senderurl and subscriber to the corresponding domain name and port number.
First problem was that I am unable to move or delete in the website . i have not checked the config yet. So as per suggestion in the forum, I have changed the admin to false. I was able to move the pages and delete. (But this seems to contradict with the set up that is suggested in the user manual ) Then I added a new page and tried to add content . I got an errror on not finding the tmp directory in the web content folder. so what happened to the original one which was created in the development environment and got exported with the WAR file? Does that mean that that tmp directory is in relevance with the sender url.? Also there was some suggestion on deleting the index.dat file and restarting magnolia, when sender url is changed. I couldn't find any index.dat. But then the suggestion was version 2.1.3. I am using 2.1.5 It would be great if anyone could direct me to a link or suggest the steps needed to be taken to transfer from development to production.
