It is fine, that the document-management is free now. So I will test it
today.
Is it very time-consuming to develop such an exporter for a newbie?
Is there any example, how to begin with it?

Magnolia has no static exporter yet, but can be developed easily via  
jsp.

magnolia 3.0 offers the document-management function included in the  
free community-edition.
Download it today and try it out. and yes it searches within the  
documents as well
