I just tried, and it looks like you need an existing file in Tomcat 5.5.

Since its just tomcat config, yes it should still apply. OTOH, maybe
more recent versions of tomcat allows to use a path that doesn't point
to an existing file on the filesystem. Try it and report back if you
want ;)
