Thanks for the info.
I am still wondering;
Is there a way for scheduled publishing within the CMS?
See the simple sample pages properties (CE not EE). The workflow uses
this information to delay the publishing or automatically unpublish
pages.
There is a scheduler module available where you can register any kind
of scheduled tasks.
Is Activation the way how the CMS publishes its contents?
Yes

Subject: Re: [magnolia-user] QUERY!!! What is redeploy deamon?
What is redeploy deamon? Is it any tool used for publishing
content? If
not, how do the contents get published? Is scheduling of publishing
possible?
It is somthing I should improve but for now it does the following (if
started):
- extracts the modules files found in /mgnl-files to the webapp
directory periodically
- this is mainly used if you develop jsps in a module where the
container has no access to the files (because thy lay in the jars)
I will improve this as such that all this depends on the
magnolia.develop property. If set the deamon will run automatically
but will use a better mechanism to extract the files to save
performance.
