Thanks for your very usefull hints. The browser cache was fooling me. But now arises the next question? which is the best way to add meta information (no-cache) to the generated webpages, so that users will allways see the latest content?

Hi Uli If the page status shows "green" in the Inbox, then AFAIU, there are 2 possible reasons, you are not seeing the changes in the public instance. - Your browser cache - you know how to flush that. - Magnolia cache - in order to flush this, just delete the "cache" folder somewhere in the public webapp directory.
