Hi Chris, 

I don't have any helpful information for you, but when you finish gathering 
your recommended MySQL settings I'd be very interested in seeing them.  I have 
noticed the admin central seems much slower than it should be given the 
hardware we have Magnolia running on, but I have not had a chance to 
investigate the MySQL or Tomcat configuration changes to make Magnolia run 
optimally.
