Can someone point me at a brief description of how page requests are routed in Magnolia, and what control we might have over this?
In particular I am interested in where the decision is made to get pages from /docroot, and whether there is a possibility to change this, or to provide alternative file-system trees. I am not clear why the stuff in /docroot couldn't be in the repository anyway - or is it just historical (perhaps because the decision predates the DMS). Am I making sense?...
