Activation shouldn't have anything to do with the display of a checkbox
control in the page properties. ... that is if you are opening the page
properties dialog in the authoring software. Is there anything wierd
about your setup or is a straight author and public environment. Also
is the dialog being opened on the authoring side or the public side?
