OK, I figured this one out. It is a vagary (I think it's a bug) in the user
interface. New is enabled until I click on a user and then it deactivates.
Now I have a different problem. I cannot activate a user. When I try to
activate a user, I get a message:
Can't activate: : Not able to send the activation request
[http://localhost:8080/magnoliaPublic/.magnolia/activation]:
http://localhost:8080/magnoliaPublic/.magnolia/activation
I wonder if it is a config issue... localhost would be from the local
machine (i.e., the server) whereas this is running from a client...

Subject: [magnolia-user] Security
I am having an issue with a brand new install of Magnolia. The superuser
user does not seem to have the rights to add users... The option is there
but it is disabled.
I go into magnolia with http://md-lamp:8080/magnolia
and login with the superuser id and password.
Should I be doing something different?
Thanks in advance for ur help...
