Hi,

it was a part of my examine, to make a decision, which CMS !FITS! best to our
needs. The question for the best CMS is not possible to be answered. In some
cases a small php-system does the job, in other cases you need a full
enterprise CMS.. like i've said above, the task is to find the one that fits
best. My requirements were to find a java based CMS, that has in best case the
JSR-170 implemented (java content repository) and which is open source. I
should investigate, how it is combineable with other java technologies.
Additionally attributes like usability, security, staging mechnism, .. played a
role. Also the future of the CMS could be important (system has to be developed
further to stay updated, decreasing costs for own efforts by reusing community
stuff).
I made the decision by evaluating these points (and others).
To make it short: my company uses Magnolia.

Best regards Robin
