Is Derby not recommended only in magnolia enterprise environments or generally?
As I know Derby is the default db in jackrabbit. If you have to store
a lot of GB and
need performance you have to use some other db, ok. But if there are
only 70-100
pages (in magnolia) you need not really Oracle or DB2. That's not possible.

I need an embedded db. And Magnolia (with BerkleyDB) crashed after the server
has frozen one time. The BDB Index File crashed and I couldn't restore
the content
because I don't know what's happened. I told this problem in jackrabbit and
bdb forum but nobody could help me.

So, has anyone experience with another embedded db?

Best regards,
Zdenko
