It sounds excellent Vasko.
Which version of Tomcat are you using? To be sure Magnolia is 3.6. Correct?

I tought i sent this message last night but I guess it didn't go

Ok... I just finished putting both instances on the VPS and it worked
just like a charm.. :).. over all both instances used only 80MB of the
256 MB that I gave to the JVM for the tomcat (our VPS actualu gives
280MB).... so thats it... this is freshly tested... coupe of minutes
ago... I will monitor it for a couple of weeks and test it, but
regarding the point that both instaces used ONLY 80MB i do not expect
any problems...

Hi,
I intend to use 3.6 with Tomcat 6 but I would prefer to use both Public and
Author instance. On my laptop works both, but I did not test it very much.
As soon as I install also a new webapp (I use Orbeon XForms) JVM crashes.
Is it important to really install separately Public and Author?

Hi Adrian,
I am using Magnolia public instance on a VPS with 256 MB of RAM
without problems for quite some time. Magnolia version is 3.4 and
tomcat 5.5.

Hi,
I intend to install Magnolia on Tomcat on a Virtual Private Server with
256 MB RAM. Is this enough? Should I pay for a VPS with 512MB? I do not have
experience regarding the resources needed by Magnolia. Can anybody give me
any tip on this subject?

Adrian
