Thanks for your reply.
I did installl a fresh instance of Magnolia 3.6.1 on windows XP. I am
running it on Tomcat 6.0. The database is mysql version 4.1.20 installed on
a linux system. I used the jackrabbit-bundle-mysql-search.xml, with the
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MySqlPersistenceManager.

I enclose magnolia.properties and the jackrabbit.xml.
