Hello,
some time ago there were posts here that using TLS is almost imposible
under UML. Lately I tried Slackware 10.2 (native support for TLS) as a
guest filesystem and it works without any problems.
+------ Under UML ------+
/root# uname -a
Linux darkstar 2.6.13.2-bs2 #1 Sun Oct 2 11:38:07 CEST 2005 i686 unknown
unknown GNU/Linux
/root# ldd /bin/bash
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000)
libtermcap.so.2 => /lib/libtermcap.so.2 (0x40022000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0x40026000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x4002a000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
+------ /Under UML ------+
So the question is - do I really use TLS version of libc under UML
(mayber ldd output is wrong and I missed sthg) or TLS and UML works for
Slacksware 10.2 ???
Rgds,
Konrad
