ubd0r probably isn't used, but ubd[12...]r would be used when you want
to make sure that a block device won't be modified by a UML.
It's also probably a good idea when mapping something like a CD-ROM
into a UML, but if that's not done with 'r', then the rw mount will
fail, and the ubd driver will fall back to a ro mount.
