Hello Team,
I am not able to insert any modules on UML as there are no module-init-tools and run make as there no GNU utilities available on guest kernel or UML .
I am able to bring up UML, and also install modules on UML.
i.e
host# make modules_install INSTALL_MOD_PATH=mods ARCH=um
and mounted the host filesystem on to UML and copied all modules from mods directory into /lib/modules/linux-2.6.17/kernel/

but when i try to run
UML#depmod -a
i get error message
depmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
Please help me in finding out how to make these utilities available on UML and also i tried using apt-get to install but unsuccessfull .
