Isn't the user supposed to use mkfs.humfs or something such?

I remember that you made it possible to include externfs without removing 
hostfs. I know that there I posed questions about filehandle implementation, 
however I'd still suggest to merge humfs with a big "EXPERIMENTAL" mark and a 
dependency on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL, so that it starts maturing a bit more.
On my own, I know it'll be difficult that I work on it till it's not on 
mainline (as I explained at times, I get enough bugs on vanilla + 
SMP/spinlock debugging turned on, I can't work on -mm and I work near 
release, so I can't work on your tree either).
