Hi,
I'm trying to setup a GRE tunnel between an Ubuntu system and a UML (running on
a different system). This is how the systems were configured:
1. UML
Boot arguments: ./vmlinux ubd0=guest3,uml-ext2-img con0=null con=fd:0,fd:1
umid=guest3 mem=32m eth0=tapng,,tap1 eth1=gre,,10.0.0.1,10.0.0.2,9
cgroup_disable=memory init=/etc/preinit
root@OpenWrt:/# ifconfig

2. Ubuntu
This is the entry I added to /etc/network/interfaces:
auto gre1
iface gre1 inet static

netmask 255.255.255.252

up ifconfig gre1 multicast

TX packets:3 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

The ubuntu box is able to ping the IP 192.168.252.1, but strangely I don't see
packets going out to 10.0.0.2. Also, the UML is not able to ping
192.168.252.110.
Is this configuration correct or is there something missing?
Thanks!
