the snapshots are the compiled version of what there were in the repository in that date. If you use maven you just need to add that repository and the right dependency. If you just need the jar for rss extension you can grab it from here:
http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-snapshot-repository/org/apache/abdera/abdera-extensions-rss/1.0-SNAPSHOT/ If you want to compile your own version you have to use maven, go to the extension directory into the source code and execute "mvn install".
