Hey Corey, We're thinking along the same thing. I am deploying a shaded jar, and I was thinking that's the issue. Accordingly, I tried to exclude the accumulo-core.jar, but getting NoClassDefFoundError in the tool class w/ the -libjars option, so currently trying to figure that out.
