Thanks for the update.

Be aware that could have resulted in data loss.  The table(s) that might have 
been impacted would correspond to the table ids in the metadata for the wal(s) 
that you needed to replace.  Depending on your application and the tables 
involved, you might not care - but did want to point out that it was possible.
