Hi guys,
not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but for some reason Ambari 1.6.1 it
doesn't let me remove Zookeper as a component. It keeps saying it's
required by something else I selected, even if I just try to install the
base Hadoop. I am working with VMs on a quite old computer and I just
need the essential (hadoop, hdfs, tez, ganglia). Is Zookeper really
mandatory or there is some kind of issue in your opinion?
(by now I installed it, but I'd rather know if it's possible to avoid this)
