Not without code change. This is probably a good feature to add. Can you create a task? ________________________________ From: Greg Hill <greg.h...@rackspace.com<mailto:greg.h...@rackspace.com>> Sent: Friday, April 17, 2015 8:32 AM To: user@ambari.apache.org<mailto:user@ambari.apache.org> Subject: adjust the agent heartbeat? https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/trunk/ambari-agent/src/main/python/ambari_agent/NetUtil.py#L34 Is there any way to tweak that heartbeat interval setting? If I'm reading the code right, it checks in with the server every 10s. I'd like to be able to tweak that and see if I can speed up build times maybe by making it check in more frequently. I don't see any way to override that setting, but maybe there's something in the .ini file? Greg
