Custom alert rules and hive heap monitoring in Ambari 2.1

Hi All,
        I do not see monitoring widgets or alert rules pertaining to hive
memory consumption in Ambari 2.1

Can i write a custom rule for the same? Is there any documentation
regarding the same.
