I am a Big Data enthusiast with experience deploying Ambari and Apache Bigtop on CentOS 7 and RHEL 7 environments. However, as you may know, CentOS 7's license expired last year, prompting the need for an upgrade.
>From the GitHub repositories and Jira discussions, I have seen that Ambari has already started transitioning towards support for Rocky Linux, RHEL 8/9, and Python 3. However, I noticed that the last released version of Ambari still depends on Python 2 and CentOS 7. Could you please share when we can expect the next release of Ambari that fully supports Rocky Linux 8 and Python 3? Any updates on the release timeline would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Arjun
